Today we reviewed the parts of speech and the parts of the sentence during the bell activity. We continued to look as prepositional phrases and appositive phrases, and we added gerund phrases to the mix.
A GERUND is an "ING" verb (like "hiking" or "hunting") which is used as a noun. EX: This weekend a am going HUNTING FOR DEER.
Then the A-Groups had a discussion. The focus was on referencing the text during discussion.
